

Art Specifications
When preparing art for labels, there are a few things to take into consideration. Please look over our file checklist to help ensure that your current artwork is in an acceptable format.
File Checklist
Acceptable art formats
- Vector Graphics
- Adobe Illustrator .AI Files
- High Resolution .PDF Files
- Corel Draw Version 13
When sending art files, please make sure that all fonts are converted to outlines or curves to avoid importing issues. Use CMYK unless spot colors are used. Images should be supplied as hi-resolution files (300 dpi). Convert any RGB files to CMYK. If your label contains bleeds, a minimum bleed of .125” is required.
Unacceptable artwork formats
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Publisher
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- JPEG, PNG, TIFF, BMP, GIF and other flattened/rasterized images
- Scanned or faxed copies of previous labels
- Drawings
- Old Label Samples
Though these files are not acceptable art forms which can be used for label production, our experienced graphic design team can work with you and any files you have to create art files that are press ready.
